Took me about an hour and a half to make.

I bought the sheath set from Knifekits.com.

Sorry, No WIP, it would only be 2 steps anyway.

I heated the entire sheet of Kydex in my kitchen oven at 300 degrees for a few minutes, checking frequently with salad tongs to make sure it was soft enough.

I dont have a press, so I folded the kydex over the knife, put the kydex-towel sandwich in between the ground, 2 towels, and a sheet of wood. Then I sat on the whole thing for 7 minutes.

Next, I took the cooled down kydex out, drilled holes for rivets, then put the rivets in with the setter tool. Then cut it with a hacksaw blade. Couple minutes on my Harbor Freight 1" belt sander and a file and its done.

Sorry, cell phone pics:

The fits pretty good, im going to make it better with a heat gun. Its a little too tight on the RES C, im going to remold that part.
Thanks!
Btw, the extra hoes are for lefty carry if i ever need it.

awesome, ready to sell some...........

Not yet. I dont think I ever plan to sell, sorry. There are many, many more talented makers than me out there, ie Rainwalker, Buy (Guy?) Brown, ect.

You should really try making them, its not too hard, fun, and cheap. It cost like 35 bucks for the sitting tool and two sets of kydex+rivets+belt loop after shipping. And the Press was free, used towels I had in the bathroom and three smaller pieces of wood lying around that I screwed together.

Wow, I just realized I posted two of the same pics. Edited with second pic.

Heres the kit if anyones wondering: http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/index.php?cPath=41_54_137

That's a great job! Enough so that it doesn't look like your first.

I've made Kydex sheaths before for Res-C handled knives, and I know what you mean about the fit. On mine, I discovered that the mouth edge of the sheath would kind of dig in to the handle. I cured that by flaring out the edge of the mouth and bringing the Kydex up a little higher so that it grabbed more with the smooth inside of the sheath.

Anyway, nice job.
