First Kershaw.

My first was a Blackout. I think its a fantastic knife. However, I think its a bit dated now. My choices would be as follows.

Blur
Cryo
Skyline

I'd go after the ones that are disco'ed first... RAM, Zing or a mini/reg Cyclone if you can find one.
You'll kick yourself in the ass later on when they're almost impossible to find.

What's your price range, expected use, and do you care for only USA made knives?

Well, I'm going to be collecting but since I'm just starting out I want to work my way up to the more expensive knives. I guess my budget would be around $100. It would be better if it was a USA knife, but it doesn't matter that much.

Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines. Better now then later.

+1 for the skyline, i think people are starting to see im a nut for those

I guess my answer would be on if you are just collecting it to fondle, or to use. If collecting go for the B.F.skyline or even one of the new purple or green blurs, something along those lines. If to use, which i do recommend, get a rake, boa, or composite j.y.d., Blur or whatever floats your boat.

If it were me I would hit up Amazon or Ebay and put like 3 Kershaws in a cart... Cryo, Skyline, and a random blade that just does it for you... Brawler? Blur? Maybe mix it up? Ontario Rat 1? Rat 1+Skyline+Cryo= Defensive blade, EDC perfection, and a sweet fondling knife... and I bet you can throw it all together for around 100 bucks!

The BF Skyline should be on any Kershaw enthusiast's short list. The Leek and the Blur are also great choices. I am researching the Rake at the moment, as well.
