I'm sure this has been done, but if so, it hasn't been done in awhile.
It's just that I dug out my old "first knife" that got me interested in knives. It isn't to say it's my first-ever knife, but the one that sparked my interest.
I've never much liked slipjoints, but people had given me some and I'd always thought about getting a locking blade, but the only one I saw at hardware stores always left me cold, and that's the Buck 110. It was just too heavy, or so I thought at the time.
It was at a Dollar Store that I found this Chinese knife. I was on a vacation and wanted something for my photo bag. I saw that it was locking, and so I bought it. I also actually used it for months before I decided to buy a better one, and so it went. I still can't bring myself to toss it.
Anyway, I invite anyone who's interested to post photos of their first knives, if they still have them. This was actually a better knife in many ways than the Winchester knife that followed it.
