My wife have finally caved in to buy me a strider knife for my 32nd
Birthday present. I already own a GB folder ( Thanks Matt D)
This will be my first Strider fixed blade.
I am thinking of either getting HT, MFS , SA or EBS.
Everyday I keep changing what to get. I am leaning toward EBS.
Your input will be helpful.

First, questions.

1. Do you want a little Strider, a little bigger Strider, or a big Strider? (SA=small; HT, MFS, EBS=bigger; MT, MT-L=big)

2. Do you want a wrapped handle, or a G10 handle?

I own an AR and a DB. I love em' both, for different reasons. Both can be carried legally where I live. Personally, if I were going to buy a non-Tanto Strider fixed blade, I'd get a MT or MT-L.

since you already have a gb, what could a eblt do that your gb couldn't?
if your're into spearpoints, I'd go mt or mt-l
if you're into tantos I'd go BT or WB
I love my gb folder, and i also love my mt-l.
i had a db and it was great, but a "too in between" size for me, i found i was not using it, so i got rid of it.
can't go wrong with any of them (or with MattD)
cheers,
Derek

It seems you prefer a small sized fixed blade. Among HT, MFS , SA and EBS, I'd go EBS. And for larger one I'd go MT hollow ground or BT full flat ground.

Well guys, after showing all the knife photo to my wife couple of days ago
(MT, HT, MFS , SA and EBS) She simply told me " Get the biggest one" .
Now this is coming from a women, who have no interested in knife.
I was shocked at her comment. So she ended up getting the MT
for me. I think this means she wants to me to use the MT to
do more yard work in the weekend. She also thinks the tiger stripe
is " CUTE"
