Caught a nice smallmouth this morning, then a couple min later I hook this.

Hahaha! Yeah, rooster tail. Lol! I know he's not a bass... I was saying I hooked a bass in the same area a couple min before I got him

Yeah! I picked up some 6lb fluorocarbon line.

Nice one. It's been ages since I've fished for freshwater trout. All my fishing is coastal nowadays.

Love to trout fish. I just don't do it as much as I used to as it is a bit of an event rather than something I can do without much prep anymore. Did some fishing over around the Smoky Mountain NP in the last week for trout and had a good time catching stream bred rainbows and browns. Think I will try to make it out this week to one of the tailwater fisheries before the Memorial Day rush hits and TVA starts running more water then for the kayakers and rafters as well as increased electrical generation as the temps rise a bit.
