I just finished this up and couldn't wait to post it. I think the handle looks like a fish tail! Blade is 2 3/4 in long made of Devin Thomas raindrop pattern stainless damascus. Front and rear bolsters are Peter Martin modified "W" pattern damascus. Scales are beautiful mammoth ivory with blues browns and light cream colors. Liners are titanuim that have been fileworked and anodized blue. Backbar is fiully fileworked as are the liners, screws and thumbstud. There is also some fluting of the rear bolster to give it more of a fish look. Smooth action, 6 1/2 in overall.
and thanks forlooking,
Chuck

You're really making some great folders, Chuck! Have you done anymore balis.......? ;)

I haven't made any new ones, but I have actually been thinking about it. I'll probally draw something up this weekend. It might be a nice change from these pesky folders. It might even have a damascus blade!
Thanks,
Chuck

Holy cow chuck!!!! You going to be in Marlboro? [when is the show?]

hope I did not miss it. Your work is gorgeous.........Ira

Thaks for the kind words Ira. I'll be at the show for the NECKA meeting, but I don't have a table. I'm starting to think tha tI should get one.
Thanks,
Chuck

Excellent! Wonderful lines combined with stunning materials make this one of my favorite knives that you have made. That really is beautiful mammoth ivory. I love the richness of the colors.

Yup, this is my fave, too!

Chuck you're pushing yourself well. The ONLY thing you need now, is to get rid of that Hunk-o-Junk camera of yours and start taking some clear pics. Just glance over at Neil's folder thread to see what I mean. YOUR work deserves this clarity. Consider it as important as a grinder for your knifemaking career. (most maker's don't 'get it'. You NEED clarity to compete on the net.) I'm being straight cuz you're such an inspiration!

Filework looks great!
