NLT #3 '08 Bandolero

Dogstar Damascus Blade
Premium Fossil Walrus Ivory Handle
OAL = 14"
BL = 9"
Spine width = 1/4"
BL @ widest pt. = 1 3/4"
Razor sharp top clip

Framed handle construction with a mid ways side bar. Mountings are stainless and engraved with a row of very small beads on the guard {better than 200 of them} A double row of beads engraved along side good luck running wheat pattern on ferrule. Scroll engraving on the side bar. I honestly can't remember examining a Bowie I was more impressed with.

This Bowie that won "Best Art Knife" in Arkansas and is an updated version of Jerry's Bandolera design of years back. I have included an old Fisk Knives brochure depicting an early "Bandolero". Jerry has raised his price a bit on this piece since then. ;) :D

All comments welcome and thanks for viewing. Thanks Chuck for the fine photo. It will get a black tooled leather sheath with exotic inlay from Paul Long.

Only way to top it is to go to the micro show;) That is one great looking knife and I can't wait to see the sheath that goes with it.

That is the most spectacular Fisk!! THAT is MY personal favorite!! Huge CONGRATS!

Awesome addition to your Fisk collection, Kevin. I was fortunate enough to handle this one at Little Rock and thought everything about it was right! Steel, blade profile, guard, dreamy ivory with all the right (and unique) embellishments. All the above, plus it felt great in the hand. Congratulations definitely in order!

We missed you at the show this year Chuck. I hope all went well with the surgery. You're right about Jerry's show, looking forward to next year already.
Bob

Without question, Jerry pulled out ALL the stops on this one. Jerry, your engraving has matured incredibly. No more "scratchin'...." :thumbup:

OK, I give up.... How do we get "good luck running wheat pattern on ferrule". That's a good luck sign?? :D :confused: :p I'd like to know this the next time I see it.

And of course, Chuck's photo is abundantly clear and colorful. As they all are. :)

I am pleased for you Kevin. THAT is a priviledged piece to own.

Nicely done Jerr.
