Okay, you choppers, what do you guys (and gals?) think of the axes and hatchets made by Fiskars?
I saw some at Lowe's hardware and they seemed to be well made and very sharp (much more so than the others at Lowe's).
Overall, I was impressed and I'm considering a purchase of the full-size chopping ax.

Thanks,
Allen.

I have not used them, but they look solid. Generally the GB products tend to dominate, but these have a few advantages such as handle durability and attachment security. The profile would be critical, but at least they known a high sharpness is necessary and there is no nonsense about "working class" edges. I have been meaning to pick one up to have a look at it. The price is decent as well.

Thanks Cliff.
I'll post this in the wilderness Survival forum too.
Maybe it'll get more feedback there.
