This is a product of both a discussion I had with Kodiak PA regarding the Jess Horn and James Mattis' request for a similar bladed Native.

Anyone like to see this? I think it would be cool.

If I had one, I would probably retire my BM Mini-Spike...

Did you see the AG Russell Exclusive Jess Horns?

One may want to keep an Eye out for my review of the Bob Kasper designed, Kevin Gentile modified AFCK and interview of Bob Kasper. Sorry about the wait, my review and interview should be online shortly, luckily Spark has graciously offered to do the pictures, look for it right here at BladeForums.com.

I think it would be great, provided the blade was actually a bit stronger than the present one feels. I'm sure it would cut like crazy, esp. a plainedge version. Jim

That Jess Horn design is narrower than a Delica, but it isn't a Mini Spike. The Benchmade 640 is unusual among pocket knives in that the whole edge can be brought down on a flat surface, making it a good portable paring knife. If I was choosing among Spyderco-Horns, I'd pick that A.G. Russell exclusive, but a flat-ground plain-edge version of the Delica would do everything it would do, and use the ambidextrous handle too.

Hmmmm . . . How about a flat-ground Endura in premium steel as a lower-cost alternative to the Military? Call it the Reserve?
