Thanks to those that have been patiently waiting!!! I appreciate all the Emails, phone calls and gentle prodding

Awesome.

The contrast between the blasted Titanium scales and the rubbed blade looks great. Also, the double onlays is a nice touch.

Stunning!!!!! That's it, my next knife!!!! Get into your shop, make me one with some nice blue micarta and tell me when it's ready!!!!
Absolutely awesome work Neil............Ira;)

Very nice doesn't even begin to discribe this knife as far as I am concerned. Incredibly solid look with beautiful curves, and I love that snakewood. Those bevels look outstanding.

Edited because I first thought that the wood was snakewood, but obviously I was mistaken. The redwood burl looks fantastic.

Thanks for the compliments and the Emails!!

Right now I have enough of these and my BIG folder to keep me quite busy through, AT LEAST, the rest of the year. I wish I could take more orders but at this time I would rather not.........Until I can provide an accurate delivery date that is!!

Holy Smoley! Beautiful!

Words of caution however. When you finally get around to opening the floodgates (taking orders again), I expect that you will again find yourself in the same predicament. Just hope I am in time to place my order before they close again. Hell Neil, enjoy the ride. You've earned it. :)

I'm convinced that Neil Blackwood will go down as one of the all time greats. Incredible. No other makers work makes my mouth hang open.
Thanks for the great pics.

Phillip :)

Love the look! Nice style all your own, good job!

AND the way it curves down at the butt, should fit well in a sheath!
As some knives don't work as well but that one should do nicely!

Just How Long of a BlackwoodBacklog is there?
now say that three times real fast! ;)

Phil,

Thanks, I need a swollen head Smilie:eek: The next one is going to have smaller onlays of GREEN RAG MICARTA, frame holes and green anodizing on the inside. I'm looking forward to seeing this one myself;) Now that all the fussing is over with my process, I'm having FUN with them!!!

Thanks again everyone,

Neil

That is absolutely stunning Neil. You've really outdone yourself. Can't wait for the pics of the GREEN RAG MICARTA, sounds yummy!!

Neil,

I have never seen such a pretty, awesome, excellent, bloody nice looking, sweeeeeeeeet, purty knife ever, like the one now pictured on my desktop. In fact, I wish I had never seen it.

An email has been sent...:D ....with the understanding that I could be waiting a very long time for it. I CAN WAIT!

I know this was a gallery thread that MAY have turned into an order thread, so sorry if I have made a bad there, but can you blame me??!!

But, email content does mention stag.....

Excellent work!

I'm generally not much of a folder guy but I have to stop and admire this one. It looks fantastic, appears to be extremely well built, and oozes that Blackwood mojo that makes all of Neil's knives unique.

Great work buddy! :)

Man, I'm wishin' I bought stock in that one a while ago... !!!

The pics are crystal clear, and your workmanship and lines (no--CURVES!) are exquisite. I love that thumbstud style!

Way to go. I'll wait a year for that.....
