This is my rendition of a Nesmuck folding hunter. The damascus is wonderful with a lot of character and chatoyancy. The backbar and pivot screws have been fileowrked. The screws have been heat colored a bronze color. The backbar, bronze bolsters, bronze thumbstud and bronze butt cap have been antiqued to give this piece a rustic look. The bolster screws have been hidden to give a cleaner look. This piece also has a bronze buttcap like on a fixed blade. The titanium liners have been engine turned on the edges and anodized a bronze/purple color.

Chuck

That is awesome! One of the better folders I've seen in a long time, very practical and like you said 'rustic'. On the list for one day when I strike it rich!!!

I hope it's not inappropriate to ask, and if it is I apologize in advance, but how much do you think a 'user' would cost, Chuck?
I do like the idea of a user knife in this configuration, and would even go so far as to suggest using a carbon steel blade along with all-micarta handles in order to achieve more affordability. This pattern just kills it no matter what materials you use!
I appreciate you sharing your photos of this sweet knife, and I really enjoyed checking out your web site. Lots of great stuff in there!

For some reason I can't see the pic and I can't see your web site either (timeout expires when I try it). I tried at home and at work to see if it was some provider related issue (DNS?)... same result.

will do that, thanks.
