I'm interested in this knife but I can't for the life of me find out how the clip is set up. Is it designed for tip-up or tip-down carry? I would very much appreciate it if someone familiar with the knife could answer this question.

I used to have one. Nice little folder, but just a bit too small for my taste. It's set up for tip up carry. The pocket clip is similar in design to the one used on the Benchmade 690.

Hey CS thanks for the reply and pics. Could you expound abit on the "nice little knife" opinion? If anyone else has experience with this knife please chime in.

It looks similar to the Benchmade 330, except it's a bit larger and fills the hand better because of the pocket clip. I actually carried mine on my shirt pocket and got to use it for a myriad of tasks, but since then, my preferance has leaned towards 3-3.25 inch blades for everyday carry.

I still think the Benchmade/Russell 332 makes a great companion for the office environment or as a backup for those occasions when whipping out a larger blade might seem inappropriate. Despite the G-10 scales, the locking mechanism seems more like a framelock than a linerlock. This is because of the thinness of the blade compared to the thickness of the liners.

Overall, it's a very well thought out utilitarian folder. I just wished it was slightly larger.

My wife bought me one for my birthday this year. Now that's a wife. (sorry :D )
Anyway, it is a great little office knife and mine came sharper than any other out of the box knife I have. I'd call it a frame lock also. It's my Pinnacle's baby brother. :)
