For a customer who's been waiting too long! Finally two Nasty Karambits
1. My Model 8 Karambit 3/16" thick ATS 34
2. A combo of My model 8 & the Dionaldo designed Jerry Hossum Karambit. He wanted the actual knife but I try not to do exactly what others have done out of respect to their intellectual property rights. So, I took the essentials which was blade length and the style of curve and added a thumb ramp some serrations and my Model 8 handle configuration. This sucker is NASTY! 3/16" S30V

Pardon some of the dust on and around the knives

Hope ya like em'! Hope you like em most Nick!

Excellent work as always Rich! I really like the top Model 8 with the 2 serrations on the top edge:thumbup: Very practical with a great curve.Ideal for punching/thrusting without the knuckles hitting first. This is very important when determining the fuctionality/practicality of the blade.

The bottom combo is impresive and distinct,in that it has that 1 serration with what appears to be a razor for a bottom edge
It is more straighter, with the effective cutting edges being some distance from the thumb ramps.A great one of a kind show piece for people to drool over lol :D

Waiting time was well worth it, and I advise anyone with a custom blade in mind to let Rich handle it,as I dont know how much longer he'll be taking custom order requests?!

P.S. Rich check your e-mails asap..thnx bro.

Thanks guys! Nick, I'm psyched you like them. They will be with you very soon! Email replied.

Wow!! Great work. How do you profile them? Do you cut the general shape by hand? Nasty as hell!!

The Model 8(slammer one) I used to hand cut but right now I am producing alot so they are Water Jet cut. The Larger Karambit was totally hand cut and profiled by moi!

Basically I draw the design out on the sheet of steel then drill MANY holes around the profile. Then cut the thin spaces between the holes and knock out the cut shape with a rubber hammer.

Then I grind out all the burrs and sharp edges left by the drilled holes around the profile for a smooth feel. Then do the same with the G10. It's a long process and some day I will update my tools to a faster method when I have the space.
