This is the Scout Boot Knife. It measures 8 1/2" overall, with a 4 1/4" blade of 5/32" O1 steel. This one will come with a leather pouch belt sheath, and a kydex IWB sheath. Asking $180 shipped.

This shows the thin handle, in black canvas micarta with red liners. Total thickness is a bit over 9/16".

hey John, how would this model compare to a similar model with a pointy style clip point. what would be the advantages of either style
 
Holy balls that is a wicked looking knife! Interested to see who snags this piece of art!
 
Guys I can attest to John's Scout knife design. It is my "abuse knife" and has never even hiccuped on me.
It'll take what you throw at it and laugh at you.
 
Looks like an ass-kicker John...Nice stuff! 5/32" is a sweet spot for sure!

This one does have a clip instead of the normal spearpoint. The angle of the photo does not show it well.

Those are right hand sheaths (the kydex could be worn as a standard belt sheath on the left side.)
 
Dumb question John, so don"t spit up the coffee when you read, but can't I just turn it around? I know it would be basicaly backwards on the left side, but other than the knife coming out "reverse grip" at first, is there any other difference problem? Also, I was looking at your regular website and saw the scout Jr. with a clip point. Isn't this basically that model? Thanks John

Hey John,
I think I am going to talk to you about a Scout Jr, clip Point in 3/16 like on your website instead of this one. I just don't need an IWB kydex sheath, I would never use it/wear it, and the right side sheath not a perfect fit for me. When you have a free minute can you call me. I don't want to call you becaand use you might be enjoying the holiday etc. If you didn't keep the # shoot me an e-mail to call you and when so i wont disturb.
