There are three holes that evenly spaced and centered along the handle for your chosen pins or bolts (fasteners)
The additional holes allow epoxy to travel from one handle slab to the other forming an (epoxy rivet)
Wood will epoxy to wood much better than wood to steel and the additional holes allow the epoxy to flow...

Well...the knife arrived today via USPS.

Without sounding like a kiss-ass, I am blown away and almost feel like I underpaid for what I got.
This is a serious Fu@%ing piece of steel. The handle wood is absolutely beautiful.
Mike...thank you for the raw materials. I am gonna have fun putting this together.

Hey guys, I just received shipping notification today for usps priority. My guess is that Mike can't afford to have a lot of people on staff to pack and ship out 150 orders to 150 different people. So we've just got to be patient. Which is easy for me to say, I know.
