For the Wallet and Bag fanatics

This is some interesting stuff. Haven't tried their products yet, but it's intriguing. New Sun Gear (http://www.newsungear.com)

This wallet has gear loops. They have some other interesting styles and sizes. It's just the whole "hanging" wallet concept that's bothering me.

Their shoulder breifcase is pretty cool too.

The gear is very well made, I prefer the smaller pouches for phone/pda/mp3carry. TAD Gear stocks a few of their items as does Brigade Quartermaster but otherwise the stuff can be hard to find. I special ordered a padded Omni-bag for my wife's computer from TAD and she loves it.

They look good and seem to hold a lot of stuff, but the hanging part approaches fanny pack or pocket protector status. (Not a good thing! The only folks who should EVER wear a fanny pack in the city are cops.) They almost have something, it just needs some more thought.

I've got one of those wallets, but it makes a lousy wallet for me, because the idea is to fill it full of too much stuff ... I like a flat, compact wallet that tucks away inconspicuously.

On the other hand, it makes a good utility pouch for bandaids, alcohol pads, lighter, small flashlight ... you know, all that gear that's nice to have around that's too much trouble to dump loose in a backpack.
