Posted this in the European forum, but don't expect any response there...

Do you live in a country where autos are banned? I do.
Do you find yourself drooling over the various auto knives, wishing you had one? I do.

To make you feel a little better, I've made a couple of videos to show you that life don't have to be boring without a spring in your knife.
Manuals are often fast enough...

Camillus CUDA EDC. Very manual knife with smooth opening...
ONE
TWO

Emerson CQC7 w/wave. Manual knife with fixed-blade-out-of-the-pocket potential...
ONE
TWO

Battle; Manual (Spyderco Native) vs. auto (Protech Godfather). Who will win...?
HERE YA GO

Movin' to the gray area of knife law...
Kershaw Whirlwind. Probably only legal until the authorities notice it... But at this time it should be legal [almost] everywhere.
WHIRLWIND

Thanks for watching!

My BM's are so buttery smooth I wouldn't want an auto....I'd miss out on all that buttery goodness!

What one would you say you can open the fastest . What one do you prefer to carry ? Kewl videos ! I just ask cause i'm thinking of getting the Cuda . Looks kinda slipery .

In hand, the CUDA is fastest opening of the manual knives.
From pocket draw, the CQC7 w/wave is of course fastest.
(but CQC7 is kinda slow when using the thumbstud)

The CUDA and the CQC7 is all I carry nowadays, but most of
the time I prefer the CUDA because it's so much smaller when closed.
(blades on these two are of equal length)

thanks,
Gugsi
