Buy the Becker. When the Izula comes out, you'll get one anyway. Then you can be sure you've got the right one.

I'm with stupids. Buy the Becker. Thats what we call a tide-me-over. You'll still get the Izula. I'll probably end up purchasing a Trailmaker and a RC-3 while I'm waiting on my Izula and SERE if it makes you feel any better. I know I feel better with that knowledge. Jeff, Esav, don't you guys feel better? I sure do. 
Edit: When Texas Tone Loc (texastony) gets here, which will probably be tomorrow morning, he'll feel better too.

I do have 5 or 6 Izula samples without sheaths. Will probably do a forum contest soon and give them away.
I'm behind on contests though. Still have to judge the 3rd Quarter photos and come up with a way of judging the survival kit thread.

Here I is .......I agree with Dylside...see I have the swamp warden and the Camillus BK11 to hold me over not counting the proto type Izula...
Go buy one to settle the jitters & before you know it the izula will be out...

Buy the Becker. The time will fly while you're trying to figure out why Ka-Bar sold it with a sheath that's too big and doesn't really fit it. Then the Izula will come and all such concerns will vanish.

The Becker sheath dulls the knife horribly. Other than that, it's an ok sheath, but please don't let this happen with the Izula!

Wish I had an RC blade to have entered my PSK into the context.

I've got a nice PSK, but no RC... but an Izula sure sounds about right for it!
Just do what everyone else did who didn't have one. Make one out of cardboard.

Well, if you look down into the Becker's sheath, you'll see that the two halves of the sheath are sort of offset, leaving a flat surface that contacts the edge of the blade. Maybe it's the fit of this particular sheath, but whenever I carry the knife for a few hours, neck or belt, a roughly 1 1/2 inch section of the blade has a very annoying flat spot on it when it comes out of the sheath. The tip stays sharp, but the middle half of the knife is dulled every time. I don't have this problem with any of my other knives, including my Camillus BK-11.
Looking forward to the Izula, though, which is what this thread is really about!
