forged knife

Hello to all,

I am looking to purchase a forged knife, preferably one that is made by an abs crafter. I don't have a lot of money, but want a good using knife with nothing fancy.

Anyone got any ideas who to talk to.

I don't know if he's ABS or not, to tell you the truth, I'm not sure if he even forges, but Eight Dollar Mountain Foundry makes serious, no-nonsense using knives for not much money. I've been considering one of the smatchets.
