Handle material: Burned oak wood with aluminum pins and lanyard tube. One of them does not have a burned handle but oak wood as it is.

Differentially heat treated by drawing back the spine with a torch.
Finished with ferric chloride.

They come with a simple leather sheath.

The balance point is right at the front pin. I've been working with 1070 steel for quite some time now and i'm really happy with it. It might not have the same edge retention as 1095, but the ease of sharpening and it's toughness are remarkable.
