I don't know how many folks dream of owning even one knife from Ed Fowler, or of having a spouse kind enough to make that purchase for us, but this story really made me smile.

It seems a Mrs. Idahoskunk (not their real name) bought her husband a chainsaw Damascus Fowler knife to start. Then Mrs.I contacted Ed and said "Make a special Bowie for my husband and never mind the expense, just make your dream knife."

I don't know how long it took to put this family together or what Mrs.I looks like, but I just wanted to let her know.

I Love You, and want to have your children
;)

That is a fantastic looking family.I think I would like to adopt the whole work's of them.:)

Thanks Phil, I thought I lost the two big ones in the mail last week but I guess 7 is a lucky number. The large camp is about 16" in total length. Ed suprized me in Eugene a few weeks ago by pulling it out of a large sock (nylon with a seam up the back)! Well thanks again, I will send you a picture of the 32" Viking Sword Ed is making for me when I get it.

Thanks Phil. That is a great picture. I am going to work on a collection like that one. I don't know if I will ever get there, but it is going to be fun trying.

IdahoSkunk,

Wow, you just about have my dream collection. And a 32" Viking sword on the way, can't wait to see that one!

Those are beautiful. I have a large camp knife on order from Mr. Fowler. The wait may be long, but I know it will be WELL worth it! Thanks for giving me the shot o' medicine I need!
