Howdy,
I wanted to let ya'll know about an Ebay problem I have run into. A few weeks back there were some ivory and walrus ivory Randall knives listed by one seller. Really nice knives. I put a bid on one and did not win it. Yesterday, I received a 2nd chance offer through Ebay message system(the "My Messages"legit way). All I had to do was hit the buy it now button and that beautiful walrus ivory Randall was mine. Because of all of the talk about fraud on Ebay, I found and active item by this seller ,still listed on Ebay, and sent him a message if this 2nd chance offer was legit. You guessed it, The bad guys can now send fraudulant 2nd chance offers, through the Ebay system. Here is the email I received:

Thank you James for the information. Someone fraudulantly got into my account and ended one of my listings and sent 14 second-chance offers on previous listings that were completed and the knives sold. One person sent a payment through Paypal. I have sent e-mails to E-Bay asking for help. I am really sorry for any inconvenience.
