Here is a Friction Folder I just finished up for KYenglish. It`s got a 3" Semi Wharncliff EDC blade, and is 7" overall when open. This one has green canvas micarta handles.

Nice, I really like that. I like the design of the clip with it being long.

Thanks for the piicture, yeah I'm very happy with this one looks like john did a really great job.

These are available in any blade length up to 4". A titanium handle version will also be available, in any blade length up to 5".

Arrived today, thanks john, so thats what green micarata looks like in person, :). I'll try to do something with it soon and get some pictures up.

been paying with this thing al day and while I don't have pictures yet I have a few thoughts.

1. I like this blade shape a lot
2. friction folders are a lot of fun
3. while LiveitLoud compared the fixed blade version to the BHK bushcrafter, I think this blade shape as a folder remids me of a boker exskelibur ii, which is one of my favorite production knives I've owned. The way you opena friction dfolder with your thumb at the back of the blade just helps this comparison for me.
4. JK micarta is nice micarta, and is much lighter the I imagined for some reason.
5. I like this pocket clip, why the shape is just sexy and the length...well why do more folders not have a longer pocket clip? it just makes so much sense now.
6. a titanium friction JK folder would be very interesting.

thought i'd share, had some spare time and the board had been quiet today compared to normal.

hope your all having a good 2012, I go back to work on Monday but imagine most people are already back to it, if they even got to leave.
