It's already pretty funny that it's actually a US company. And I just learnt that they are made in China and the microplus is being sold for less than $2 over there. (P.S. US price is about $16)

Are you sure about that? Take a look at Swiss-Tech Tools About The Company. Sounds like they are right here in the good old U.S.A.

yeah I am sure, they are made in Tsingtao, China, and being sold for 15 RMB, which is less than 2 USD.

If mine was made in China, it must have been made in USA, China, cause it clearly says "Made in USA." This one is at least the third one I've had. They are the best of what they are.

Mine, too. My Swiss-Tech MicroPlus, my best pocket gadget, says "Made in U.S.A" in tiny type but in plain view.
