I tried "searching" with no luck(user error I'm sure:D) for the differences of the GEC line.

What's the difference between GEC, Tidioute, and Northfield?

Thanks, and sorry for what is surely a redundant thread.

GEC = Stainless (440C on all general production)
Tidioute = 1095 and a great little standard build knife
Northfield = 1095 and a few more bells / whistles (swedges, pinched bolster, etc.)

They try and mirror finish the Northfield and GEC models, with satin on Tidioute. But they really don't honor that day-in/day-out.
