Here are the latest Great Eastern models, but they are a much heavier variant than most makers are putting out these days.

For those of you that carry a toothpick; what do you use it for? I know many use it like a muskrat for skinning; but would like to know the other uses.

For collecting Mike. That should be obvious by now. hehe. All jokes aside. Can you give us a spine view of the knife? I would really love to see how this knife is hafted. Thanks

God Bless

I've never been much of a fan of the pattern but I must admit I find that wine colored bone version appealing...

I'm digging that "dead skunk" acrylic. The "Tango" lettering on the blade would have to come off if I picked it up though. The guitar shield is cool.

I only have one of the toothpicks- a "blood red bone" so far, but I really like it. I just use it for general EDC stuff.

I used to not like these either, but I've always been fascinated with Laguioles and the shape of the GECs are more Laguiolish than most. If I can find the rosewood version GECs showing on their website, I'll have to jump on it.

The Toothpick is the "sexiest" of the GEC patterns so far. Most of their designs are rather brutish (which I like)- but the toothpick is curvy AND brutish. It is the most solidly-built toothpick I've ever encountered. The GEC toothpick makes Case's medium version look like a toy.

Capt. Carl's spine shot settled it for me. I'm not a big fan of wood on slipjoints, but this one is different.

Like Blues I have never been a fan of the Tootpick pattern. However, when I held this one it was a little larger than any other Toothpick I had held and so it really fits the hand well.

I too only have the Blood Red Bone version but I really like it. I don't EDC it but I have carried it on Sunday. Due to the Single blade I find it weighs much less than say the Cuban pattern.

I've been wanting a GEC with the dead skunk scales and I'm a guitar player. When I saw that toothpick, my eyes rolled back in my head and I must of passed out for awhile. When I came to, I had a receipt for payment e-mail from paypal in my inbox. "I don't know what happened honey...I blacked out...my head hit the keyboard. My eye lids must have fluttered rapidly over the keys and somehow created an online order."

Thanks Capt, that's a sweeet knife. GEC has got a winner. If I were to buy a GEC, that would be high on the list.

I second that. I would have been talking on the trade forum if I had something Capt. Carl wanted. I'll bet the carry good in the pocket.

That's it! Almost, I prefer the non-swedged version. Does anyone have a picture of the GEC toothpick in the open position?

You guys sure make it hard to exercise restraint...

;)

Those are all of my toothpick pics minus the one posted above of the spine.

I'm still on the fence on this one for some reason...(probably wouldn't take that much to push me over though...:p)
