Does anyone ever know what his decision was?
[I believe I have seen him post once in the last couple of months in a knife contest thread, so I believe he is still around. I hope he, or someone that knows him (or the answer) sees this topic. Normally, I might just follow-up with an email, but it is now private. I dimmly recall this curiosity bubbling up a year or so ago, and I think I emailed him, but the email had changed, and so it bounced back.]
