i am thinking about buying a Gerber Suspension. just wondering if anyone has any good or bad things to share about it.

Yes, I own one, and am not very pleased with it. It has the potential to be a good tool, but the steel is so soft! Typical of my experience with the majority of Gerber tools and knives. I quickly bought a Leatherman Charge, and found it to be a clearly superior tool made with superior materials, but at a considerable price. (Mine was free, because of an REI dividend though)

My wife said it all when she saw my Gerber..."huh, a fake Leatherman"

If you don't plan on doing any heavy work with it, it's not so bad, certainly much better looking than the Leatherman, and the Leatherman feels less bulky.

If you do get the Gerber, I hope it serves you well...

I did not like it at all! I gave it away.

It is not worth it at any price.
