The first one to the left is an EWOK and the other is a G10 knife.

Also, I think we should have taken an all JK knife picture with them all out of the sheaths.

John, I'd like to thank you again for the opportunity to come out today and gather together with everyone. Thank you for opening your workshop & home to all of us & for your hospitality.

Ok, I picked the better of all pics I took today.

I do have to say, it's a good thing for me that I didn't stop at the cash station before I got out there. I had an excellent time, and I love that tin knife, already made a pocket sheath for it.

Hi Stomper -

First of all, thank you for an AWESOME day!

As Derrick said, it was like Christmas!

For those who did not attend, Stomper treated the attendee's to food, prizes, and he even made each of us our very own design of a tin-knife.

Many of the people attending brought knives to show off, and we laid them on a table at the front of the workshop.

I took tons of pictures - you can find them all at the following link -

http://www.iammoon.com/albums/JK Gathering 05152010/

I arrived at Stomper's self proclaimed "ghetto knife shop" at 8:30 am sharp, and I was the third person to arrive - as Matt and Derrick had already arrived.

Stomper had laid out a nice array of his work on a shelf on one wall of his workshop.

Here is a picture of the business end of Stomper's workshop. It is neat and efficiently arranged.

The Boss was not able to be at the gathering, but she did leave her GT Mustang for us all to admire!

This is the very first JK knife, prominently featured on the wall.

Setting up the JK heat treat forge -

Stomper uses a custom forge-igniting fluid.

Our benevolent host had wrapped up gifts for all of us, which we drew numbers for and picked our gift from the pile in order. I received a very nice SAK slippie!

.

Thanks again for a great time, and it was great meeting all of you folks who attended.

I think it was a great turnout, and it was cool that you all wore your JK hats the rest of the day!

best regards -

There are a lot of great pictures here, but way too many showing my balding head! :D I think everyone had a pretty good time, and I plan on doing another one in September. As soon as I get some time I will be posting some pics of "leftovers" to sell.

I bet that was a great time and a handsome group of men , I might add. Im curious, who gave out the hats?

mqqn went to the trouble of finding someone who would do them, ordered them, and passed them out to the attendees. Incredibly generous!

I wish I could have made it... I see my knives made it in one of the pics, very cool. I really like the way you heat treat (very, very interesting). You might have to do a write up on how that forge works.
