hi allI have made many fixed blades; and now I am thinking about trying my luck at folders. I have a 1" by 30" vert. belt sander, black and decker grinder, sears electro wet wheel, a small drill press, hand grinder, and an electric hand drill.
Any ways I would like to know if any of you have some tips for me about my frist folder?
I would like to get some advice on how to make a cross lock!
I have a new idea about how to make the blade open! I have made a prototye blade using an old kershaw handle and the design seems to be sound but I would like to make one with my own handle.
Do you think I should try to get a patent on my idea before I show anyone?
