I just inherited about ten el cheapo lazer cut steak knives . I,m gonna make myself a hard foam target and bring em out to the range . At least I,ll have lots of knives to throw . I like long cycles of constantly throwing the same shape . It helps me iron out any faults in my throwing form .

Careful with the tips on those--they'll probably crack off if you miss the softer target. I suspect you're already anticipating that, though...

No watchful I was remiss there . I,ll have to think about that . Don,t you think they would just bend ? They are those practically generic plastic handled cheap barely lazer cut edged monstosities that actually work pretty good for a while .
They have a weathered barn plank wall behind the foam .

Thanks for the tip .

They'll bend up to a point, but past that point I suspect the tips would just crack right off.

That's if you throw them into solid wood; against a foam target, they'd last for years... longer than the target would, that's for sure.
