Got inspired by a post from "kneedeep". Gonna give a soldier a Kershaw, figure why not. They get a good blade and i think it's an interesting way to show thanks. I already have 3 skylines figure one can go to a good home.
Anyone else in? Can be family member to total stranger. Active or retired.

If so post a pic of what ya gonna give em.

I gave my buddy who was an army special ops a brown/black skyline, he loves it and uses it everyday.

Good on ya, I gave my wife a pink mini grip, for her job it's great.

I gifted the same knife as chester22 a brown and black skyline to my father (USMC retired.) its his favorite "go to knife"

Roger this activity...
Have sent two ZTs "down range" already...On my way to Alaska with another ZT for hand-off in a couple of weeks.
We can't ever forget the contributions our armed services men and women make while on the "sharp edge of the fight". Do what you can to show them your appreciation.
Regards,

I have a good friend who's a former Marine Staff Sergeant. Now he's an EMT, and we've been friends for a couple years now, having met through playing paintball. I gave him a Rescue Blur for his birthday. :)

Ill join in. I member on a local forum pm'ed me from Afghanistan interested in a Kershaw Scallion I have on there. He was going to give me his home address so I can send it to his wife for my convenience and then she would send it to him. I think Ill just ship it to his base once he gives me the address. He's on a 9 month tour currently, not sure which branch. Ill Ask him.

This doesnt count as giving it away but... I had a Desert Sand leek on craigs list, a guy saids hes headed up from by Fort Lewis. He showed up he had on full military fatigues on, he handed me some money and went to grab some more. I said "thats good, military discount." I cant remember how much it was, but I was surprised at how happy it made him.

The sacrifice that our men and women make in our armed forces make is hard to fathom. I can't imagine being separated from my wife and kids, parents and siblings for 9 months or a year. I have a long day at work and I just want to go home.

It does count sir, when i was at Marksman in puyallup several Ft. Lewis soldiers were in there all dressed in their fatigues. One guy saw my Tremor and asked to look at it, he really liked it so i just told him to take it. It pissed off my newphew who is a pierce county sheriff deputy and also wanted it, i told my nephew to piss off:)
