Earlier, when i mentioned the pacific style trainer you said the edge may look sharp, well i just recieved mine in the mail and its not sharp at all, not even dull sharp, its very thick, the only map thing is the point the point is still kinda pointy, but nothing a grinder cant do.

Thanks for that report. The sharp pointed worried me most. It's hard to judge the sharpness of an edge from a picture, but one can get a pretty good idea of the point on a tip. As you say, you might be able to grind it down.

You can see the tips on some other trainers in my review of the I&I Sports one and get an idea of what one should look like for combative training.

lol when i looked at this thread i was like WOHA MIKE TURBER is gonna say something to me! then i look and felt a depressing shadow cover my heart :(
