Well I paid tribute to a friend of mine who lets me hunt his property. Every year I make him a new knife and this year he got the Ivory handled skinner. That was the second best knife of my career and the best working/show knife ever. (the best one my wife took before I put the final edge on so it is pure show)
He loved it and I had to near beat him to promise he would USE it.
The nice thing about knife making is "there is always a next one".
