Does anyone know a good (read "inexpensive") source of gun belts on the Internet? I'm looking several inches more "prosperous" (yeah, that's the word, I'm sure of it) since I last bought belts, and am in need of a few new ones.

I second thewilderness. You can get a great belt that will last years for $35 or so. It's easy to adjust a little when you've eaten a large meal or carry IWB...I always end up punching extra holes in the leather belts. I have a frequent flyer which has the delrin loops and is very lightweight.

Filson has heavy duty leather belts that appear well made. I'm opting for one of theirs. The Liger belts from maxpedition seem quite interesting also.

My Milt Sparks gun belt has been inexpensive on a per-year basis, but the initial acquisition cost was not the cheapest. Very sturdy and comfortable.

Another vote for The Wilderness. I have a 5-stitch Instructor's Belt, and I love it. Great for supporting the weight of a 1911, and endlessly adjustable. I've had it about two years now, and it seems to be holding up well. The soft side of the velcro looks a little nappy, and the tab end is fuzzing up from being dragged through the buckle five times a day, but other than that, it looks great:thumbup:

I have a Liger Gunbelt, and am very pleased with it. After A couple years, it is none the worse for wear.

Galco leather for me----have a couple that were just under $70 shipped from Midway.

+1 on the Galco

I had them make me a semi-custom belt and holster for me and I love it. Wasn't anything crazy, just a belt made to specs I gave them with color and buckle needs and they did a wonderful job.

Either or I give a thumbs up to http://www.usgalco.com/ on their work.

I wouldn't skimp on a belt or holster its best to get a quality rig that will give you many years of use rather then a cheapo that will need to be replaced every year.

Cheap + Quality don't go hand in hand if you want quality your going to have to pay for it.

Hey, thanks guys. Some really good recommendations here. I appreciate all of your input.
