I got my first machete sheath from Heber (AKA Wildman). It's a universal 14in "2nd". What makes it a second? The belt loop is canted about 3deg and three stitches at the bottom are not perfectly straight, that's it! There is nothing functionally wrong with the sheath at all. When it's on my hip I can't tell that the belt loop isn't perfectly straight. In fact, I would have expected this to be a standard sheath for a clearing tool like a machete.
The leather is VERY thick and stiff. It is abrasion resistant and durable enough for heavy field work due to the weight and treatment of the leather. The stitching is thick and very even. The edges are all burned/burnished for durability. The quality of this leather exceeds the price and I will be ordering three more for my other Fiddlebacks.
