hi - found a sheath for my SIFU today, a 'blackie collins' brand (?) hadnt heard of sheaths by him but it looks like a standard nylon belt sheath, except big - has a belt clip at about the midpoit, for horizontal carry - cost $7 - it'll be great for use when i dont want it in my pocket - also got 1 for my spydie matriarch so i can carry both - also got a kel tec P32 i swear its lighter than the SIFU - am gonna shoot it sunday or monday - it has potential for a good back up, IF its reliable - have read its great, and read it sucks - we'll see soon...........

hey i got my catalog from www.knifecenter.com, and they list the blackie collins sheaths like i got, they are $5, and are really a good everyday sheath - gonna get 1 from saestre, but will have to send in my knife as he has no smooth handle SIFU's to make it with - i dont know if i can do w/out it for long! but his sheaths are the thing for sure,,,,,,but the collins will do for now,,,,,

Thank you for the lead! I've been looking for that type of horizontal belt sheath for my Sifu for a loooong time. I can't find the Blackie Collins sheaths anywhere on the KnifeCenter web site, but I will call them tomorrow and ask.

Most of the time I love my Mike Sastre concealex sheath, but sometimes I want to keep a lower profile.

Hey Vet95LT1, does the blackie collins sheath cover the entire sifu? Can you close the sheath's flap over the sifu? Is the sheath black balistic nylon? Is there a pic of it on the internet?

By the way Corvettes with LT1 motors are cool.

There are kydex neck rigs for kel tec P32. Great back up piece.

hey roguespear - we talk a lot huh lol - in answer to your questions, yes the sheath fits well, folds over the top correctly - made out of black nylon - not on the website, let me see if i can find the # -SH253 seems to be it - they advertise it to fit 5" closed, and the main body of the pouch on mine is about 5"or so - but the knife fits correctly, top is long enough to o over top, but not w/much to spare though-close- i am not sure what # mine is (of course i threw the packaging away) and i'm just not 100% sure it will fit (the 1 in the catalog) but i'm sure ya can call them - 18003386799 and i'm sure they could check it out - its like $2.95 - give them a call - yes LT1's are ok, especially w/a little work -ran a 13.66 in the 1/4 this spring - not bad for stock i guess(or almost stock lol) - went to www.ktog.com, they have a bunch of stuff ya can do to them(Kel-Tec)for reliability-basically smoothing things up, gonna do that tue, and go shoot it wed - hoping for the best - will be a handy little piece if all goes well - call the knifecenter people about the sheath, if it is 1 like mine, ya will be happy - i'm pretty sure it is, but dont want ya to order something that aint gonna work - like i said mine works 100%, closes right, etc - mainly wanted something to carry SIFU in while i bike so it doesnt get so sweaty - at this it will work great-will just stick it in my waistband ,,,hey the 1's in the catalog have 'blackie collins' embroidered on the sheath too - neat huh? well hope this helps ya out - let me know if it works for ya bud.....

And getting smaller...

It's nice to run into another local! I live in Austin, but only barely. I'm just off Yager and I-35. You can't get much further north than that and still be in Austin.

I called them and they denied having ever heard of such a thing. Then I called them back, was a lot more insistant, and they finally admitted that they might be able to order one. So in one or two weeks I need to call back and find out whether they succeeded. <sigh>

Where did you actually get yours?
