got my pack kit

Hi, got my small pack kit in the mail yesterday. That is one really well made kit. I put it on my camelbak pack that I normally carry on campouts and hikes. I put a esee 3mil and fire kit in it, with a set of nav cards. A sharpener and other bits and pieces I find useful in the woods.
I will add some more things here and there depending on where I'm going and how long I'll be there. I have several other pouches on the pack, I like a seperate canteen pouch that I can put on a belt with a canteen cup, a multi tool pouch, a gear pouch with binocs , and a map pouch.

worth a try, right? :D i thought about mentioning the "rubbing it in" factor but BBQ took care of that! I did order a 5.11 24 pack to tide me over and help ease the pain of missing out. :thumbup:
 
actually already had a pair, just wanted this one to put a few things in for camping or to toss in the truck.

Great lookin' pouch Dave! You'll have to give us some good close ups for those of us who weren't lucky enough to snag one.:D
 
ok took some pics this morning. i had intended to take them outside but its sleeting and 15degrees and the wind is blowing at 35mph.

my intended use for the pack is a kit to toss in the truck and have for emergency's and its very well suited for that.

as you can see from the pics this is very well made with heavy duty stitching throughout, and a well thought out layout. the esee3 mil fits in as does an izula. i keep more medical supplies than anything else in an emergency kit with a way to make fire and a couple of different knives. primarily because its a truck kit and my truck has tarps, rope, chains and lots of other stuff in it all the time as well as a truck gun.

as I breifly mentioned on chat last night I was loading mine up.....
