I am not prone to profanity, but my first words on opening up the box, sitting in my car in the middle of Taiwanese traffic : Holy Sh*t ! This knife is huge, I got it to replace my Mad Dog Rat thing, which I had to get rid off
As far as fright factor is concerned this red handled, black bladed piece of steel has it, and then some.
Checked out overall fit and finish, I like it, lock-up is solid, blade is paper slicing sharp, very good product for the price paid. Honestly there is no reason not to buy this knife, unless you are afraid of size.
My only very minor complaint is the clip, which I find to be too tight, meaning I have to struggle to pull the knife out my pocket. I see this as a minor point as the clip is the least functional attribute of this awesome folder.
This knife is far larger than one realises. I measured it against my mad dog ATAK, they are
about the same length. Obviously this thing gives one loads of reach.
I think it will take some time to get used to the dynamics of the larger handle, but I feel it is worth it for the beauty of a folding mini sword.
In short, one can't go wrong with this knife from a defensive standpoint. ( as long as you have time to deploy it)
