Got my tan blade/green micarta handled RC-4 last night from Knivesshipfree.com. (no time for photos yet). It is a very nice looking and feeling knife. I can see this becoming a go to knife for camping, hiking, trips to the woods, etc. Hopefully the OD blade/orange handled RC-4's will be at the dealers soon. I sent a preorder note to Derrick at Knivesshipfree.com and he said he'd let me know when they come in. I'll post some action pics when I get a chance.

Congrats on the new RC-4 . Now, THIS THREAD IS USELESS WITHOUT PICS :p:p.

I got my tan one too. I love this thing. It hasn't left my side since it arrived yesterday.

I just placed my order for my RC-4 with green handle and tan blade and it should arrive friday. I can't wait and I'll be sure to post pics

Usually the first thing i do when I get a new knife is immediately make a new sheath for it. Even if the sheath from the factory is great, it is rarely "perfect for me". I like my sheaths to be very slim, no frills, non-overkill, tasteful, and fit the blade perfectly. Low and behold, R.A.T. made a perfect sheath. No garbage, no crazy belt loops, no nonsense, just right. I am very happy with my RC4's

The problem with these Desert Tan knives is that they are a pain in the rear to get a good pic of!
