Got the Red Carnie

Well I got 12/50. It is certainly a handsome knife. :} Can't decide whether this is user or a collectible. I'm afraid the black Ti and the printing are going to wear off with use.

What do you folks think.... Of course, the problem would be solved if the red G10 becomes part of the regular line-up.

Sing, I'm going through the same debate. I received 15/20. I really love the red handle but I'm concern about the black blade and numbers coming off. Right now I'm thinking about getting a second Bladeforums Carnivore as a user. I may get the regular Carnivore or the Cub if the Red Carnivores are all spoken for. I really like the red handle/ black blade coloring. I just can't seem to bring myself to cut anything for fear of ruining the letering.

Okay, I decided it's a user so I modified it for a tip down carry as that is my preference for bigger folders.

Pretty nice.

Here is my Blue Carnivore by Crawford for comparison:

For less the 50% of the Crawford, the REKAT is definitely a good buy.

Sing, those are some good looking knives! I like the tip down carry on your Red REKAT. I have always prefered tip down carry myself. I have decided not make mine a user. My next REKAT will be tip down carry like yours. Now I'm waiting for REKAT to change over to D-2 steel!
