I got my first ever fixed blade, its Case XX 316-5 SSP. That was my cousin's other grandfather's hunting knife. It looked as though he sharpened it with a brick, but it would slice open a dear like nobody's business.
On another note, I got a Boker Tree Brand Barlow, it has 493 stamped on the blade for those who are wondering. Its about 40 years old, but still walks and talks like the day it was taken out of the box. Its sharp as a razor too.
I wanna carry around the Case 316, but I don't really know the laws on knives in Georgia, does anyone know how long the legal limit is?
The barlow would get some pocket time in the next few days if it wasn't for this durned Queen gunstock in d2. Been in my pocket since the day a fellow forumite sent it to me.
I'll put up a few pictures of the "new" additions when I find my camera and possibly my SAK..they both seemed to have grown legs and walked right up off my desk. :-/ oh well, till next time!
