FYI - I had a Spyderco Starmate that I'd had for a while and was my EDC. I had used it hard and reformed the tip because I broke it off. I discovered that the liner lock did not pass the "spine wack test" - and sent it to Spyderco.
Yesterday I received a brand NEW Starmate from Spyderco for no charge (which passes the "spine wack test" every time). What great customer service! Thanks Sal. I have many Spyderco products and will continue to buy more!
