Great thunderstorm tonight

Back from Canada ... very peaceful place.


Lots of backcountry camping, on who knows who's land ...

Got to use the Pen Knife quite a bit ~ great medium sized camp knife. She does have her limits, but with a little thought finds ways around them

Had LOTS of powerful weather. Almost everyday had consistent winds over 20~25mph. One day was over 40 all day... just awesome to sit around in as the temperature was around 75.

Then the rains came. Torrential at times, especially overnight. Morning dawned clear and sunny, so everything was dry to pack away.

Very close lightning and coyotes on our last night. Also the most brilliant sunset. Great way to finish a trip ... again, on who knows who's land ...

Red foxes running all about too.

It was good. It was really good.


Lightning seems to be just getting started here now ...

The heat has been bad here, and we've had no relief from Thunderstorm in my small section of Montana. I did notice a very large storm moving into Canada this evening, though, so someone is getting it.

Sounds like your vacation was wonderful.
