Has anyone had the chance to actually use a Chris Reeve Green Beret yet? If so, what can you tell us about it? How are the handle ergonomics compared to the one-piece line?

I remember reading a real good online review of this knife. I think it was on Knifeforums but, I was unable to find it again.

The handle ergonomics really don't compare. You have a knurled round surface vs. a more traditional full tang knife with scales. For my medium glove size hand, the samples I held felt like the finger cutouts were a little large (perhaps for gloved use or just larger guys in general :) ). The scales are reduced slightly from the tang but, all the edges were nice and smooth so, I would expect it to work well in hard use.

This knife is well thought out and thoroughly tested by a group of hard core high speed low drag individuals who could carry anything they wanted. Whether it is the right knife for you, only you can judge.

And greg, there was a writeup of you as well, a good write up too I might say:D
