Green Carnie is Here!!

Alright! Up came the white USPS truck, and out hopped my carnie, ran up to my door, and gave me a big hug! um, no, wait...the last part was all in my mind....but, its here!

some minor issues with it, but overall, it works well! maybe a moderator will direct me how to work this out....

issues? when black coating was rubbed off, thumb stud seems to have been smoothed out. hard to open that way. pivot screws seem to be worn(the head, not the screw itself). the rolling lock seems to kind of "stick" when in the open position...have to not use thumb to leverage it past stick point(use index finger instead)(actually, my Cub does this too, but i also have to use my other hand to close the blade, as it will not release right with one hand...sticks, then breaks point and shoots closed). and, needs to be sharpened...has quite a rolled over edge(very sharp on one side, dull on the other...).

other than that, the feel, look, style, comfort, quality, all seems to be what ive wanted...

just gonna work out bugs. if anyone has good ideas, please give me a hand.

Glad to hear that the Carnivore made it there safely. I'm still waiting for the Pioneer II, it should be here Monday or Tuesday.

Now all you need to do is buy the
REKAT Carnivore with a Talonite blade that is currently for sale in the "For Sale Individual" Forum.

That and a Red/Black Carnivore.

Have fun with the new knives.

Thanks man...say, did that Pioneer II ever come in for you? If so, how do you like it?

Also, I read in your other post(I've posted this question there, too) that you sent back a knife to have the lock "adjusted"(yes, paraphrase). When you noticed it needed to be, was the lock slider all the way to the top end? My new green carnie came like that...very, very little space before it is at the top end when opened.
