I have found an olive green handled Endura ,serrated (used ,but vg+) .
Anyone have any info on this knife ?
Like when issued ,how many produce? Was it regular production .
It looks like it may have the plastic built in clip, not positive though,I have only seen pics of one side.
How collectable might it be?
any info greatly appreciated.

IIRC, there have been several production runs of green Enduras, so production date would depend on clip and steel type. If you compare the photo of the knife with a picture of the current production versions, and the handle shape in the rear looks more like the all stainless than the current FRN, then it is the older, integral clip version. If you can read the steel markings, or if there is no steel marking below the SPYDERCO name on the tang, that would further help date the knife.

All Spydercos are "collectable" to some degree. When it comes to FRN Enduras and Delicas, there is more collector interest in "color" variants such as the green Endura you are interested in, than in black, but generally only if both the knife and the box are in pristine condition.

The receipt for my then NIB C10SGR is dated 3/1/95
They can be pricy on ebay. I've seen NIB ones go for over $100 but.....
I got one about a year ago for around $50+.... IIRC.

FWIW... The green ones are my favorite!

The green Endura and matching green Rescue with FRN clips have become a tough find these days. The story I heard was that they were originally sold by Spyderco during the early 90's to our guys in uniform during the first Gulf War. I suspect some number of them were sold to the general public too.
