Here is one of two Commanders I'm having David Brunner of Banditknives.com customize.

This Commander started life (at least with me) as a slightly used '98 Commander with a Black-T blade.

The folks at Bandit Knives made Green Micarta scales, hand Satin finished the blade, bead blasted all the hardware (except the clip), cleaned up the liner edges and bead blasted the liners. Absolute "Grade A" job all the way.

Gotta send Bandit something to do soon-was thinking maybe a mach1 for something different.

And you didn't have to spend $800...

Some of David's prices have gone up slightly very recently. Plus I understand that doing the hand Satin finishing was a bit of a bitch on the Commander and there most likely will be a high charge for the guy that gets the second one done.

The total for the work you see on my knife was $155. Extremely resonable in my eyes.

As you can probably guess, I highly recommend the work.

John,
Great looking knife. The work looks really tight.
