I am talking relative thickness here. When it comes to handle thickness... Do you like thin handles, like on say a Spyderco Police Alloy scales... Or thick and meaty like on a Junglee?

I like thin. I can't have the bulk clipped to my pocket.

I mean, if I went around saying I was an Emperor because some
moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, people would put me away!

On the thin side, but some meat to it. I prefer in the vicinity of spyder as opposed to fat handles for pocket, but the handle must have substance as well. Police to narrow for my taste, the spyderco Endura is a better fit and lighter. Handle more rounded. Also not as long.

Anyone else?

I think all else being equal, I prefer a thick, contoured knife. I wear fairly loose-fitting pants and have never found any knife particularly obtrusive, heavy, or hard to draw. My friends who wear jeans think differently. My personal AFCK has contoured micarta scales that are .775" at their thickest point (not including the clip) - that's over twice the thickness of a Police model (mine measures .320"). It feels great in the hand, closer to most fixed-blades than to your average folder. If slimmer were better for grip, wouldn't fixed-blades have super-thin handles? Of course, a few do, like Nealy's and Polkowski's, but that's for carry purposes, just like a folder. Yeah, I say go with the thickest handle you can carry comfortably.

Just wanted to add that I recieved a Large Apogee, 9-1/2" long, 3/8" thick. One tasty piece of thin crust pizza.

I'm not fond of the open faced sandwich KISS folder, just use it as a letter opener.

If you're having tomato soup with the sandwiches, I'll take a grilled cheese every time!

It all depends on the where dinner is at...

Daily diet Grilled Cheez

Church Dinner More of a ham on rye (bolsterd, natural)
