Just received a Gryphon M10.
Been fondling it for a while.
I like the Mini TekLok. Won't fit my Wilderness Tactical belt. No problem, I was going to use the loop anyway. No big.

Sheath is very well made. Very secure. A little too secure for my taste, but hopefully she'll break in some. I'll take a Dremel(tm) to the top as well. I could remove some of the top, and still have plenty of security. When I grab it in Drawpoint configuration, some of my hand is around the sheath, not the handle.

Fit and finish are excellent. She is beautiful. Very very scary sharp.
I don't mind the Zytel handles. Good quality Kraton(tm) wouldn't hurt my feelings though.

So far it feels good in my pants. I'll carry it tomorrow driving, and at work IWB in the appendix position.

Regards,

Brian

The zytel used in the Gryphon series are excellent. The molded checkered pattern over its almost full tang offers ample security. But does not snag or cling onto clothing like rubber can. Which may also hamper a quick draw and cause to "print" from under clothing if concealment is important. The M10 is a good fix blade as any other production out there.

Here is a good solution for M-10 Drawpoint carry: Mike Sastre.

I tried to post a comparo pic, but it did not upload for some reason ...

I will try again.

Let's see if this time the picture uploads:

NO LUCK! Time to call the tech support folks ...

Just emailed Spark but it's too soon to have heard back. One more try - if no pic shows up, I gave up and will wait for assistance.

I heard posting pictures was fixed -

Aahhh! Now, this is what I meant to show:

Now, that's a handle you can grab a hold of during Drawpoint work -- and not wind up grabbing the sheath along with it!

(mine's is set up LEFTY)
